The Generac RTSN800K3 800A Automatic Transfer Switch delivers dependable three-phase power transfer for large-scale commercial, industrial, and high-demand backup power systems. Compatible with Generac liquid-cooled generators from 22–150 kW, this open-transition ATS quickly and safely shifts power from utility to generator during an outage, then back again when utility power is restored.

Constructed with a NEMA 3R-rated, weatherproof steel enclosure, the RTSN800K3 is engineered for durability and performance in both indoor and outdoor environments. Its electrically operated, mechanically held double-throw contactor provides fast, positive connections, while silver alloy contacts resist welding and sticking for long service life.

All sensing and timing functions — including start delay, warmup, retransfer, cooldown, and exercise cycles — are managed by the generator’s onboard controller. The switch supports manual operation without applied power, allowing maintenance or emergency use when needed. With a 65,000A withstand rating, it offers high reliability for mission-critical operations.
