The Generac 10kW next generation air-cooled home standby generator provides automatic backup power for entry-level home backup. Rated at 10/9kW (LP/NG) on 120/240V single-phase, it starts within seconds of a utility outage and is driven by a Generac G-Force 500 Series (459cc) built specifically for standby use.
True Power™ electrical technology keeps total harmonic distortion (THD) typically below 5%, so sensitive electronics, networking gear, and variable-speed HVAC systems run smoothly. Integrated Mobile Link® connectivity with cellular, Wi-Fi™, and Bluetooth™ support lets you monitor status, view run history, and receive maintenance alerts from almost anywhere.
A sound-attenuated aluminum enclosure, compact footprint, and Smart Exercise options make these generators easy to install and easy to live with. They are listed for installation close to a structure when installed according to Generac guidelines and local codes.
This package includes a 100A, 16-circuit automatic transfer switch for essential-load backup. It monitors utility power and automatically transfers selected circuits to generator power during an outage, then returns them safely to utility power when it is restored.
