Important: Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website or purchasing products and services from Brite Generators. By accessing our website, registering an account, or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Introduction & Binding These Terms and Conditions govern your use of BriteGenerators.com and all transactions with Brite Generators Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). If any additional contracts conflict with these Terms, the additional contracts will control. By using this website you acknowledge and accept these Terms.
2. Products and Services We offer home standby generators, portable generators, inverter generators, automatic transfer switches, portable power stations, water pumps, clean energy and battery storage systems, accessories, professional installation, and maintenance services. Product information, descriptions, and pricing are provided in good faith but are not warranted to be error-free. If a product is not as described, your remedy is under our Returns & Refunds Policy.
3. Orders, Payment & Pricing We accept major credit cards, PayPal, financing, and wire transfers. Your order confirmation does not constitute acceptance; we reserve the right to decline any order. Prices are in U.S. dollars and subject to change. Sales tax is added based on your shipping address. If a lower price for the identical item is advertised by us within 30 days of purchase, we will refund the difference (price protection).
4. Shipping and Delivery Shipping and delivery are governed exclusively by our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Many items are drop-shipped directly from manufacturers (including Generac facilities). Freight (LTL) deliveries are curbside only. You must inspect all shipments upon delivery and follow the inspection procedures in our Shipping Policy. Failure to do so may void claims.
5. Returns and Refunds Returns and refunds are governed exclusively by our Returns & Refunds Policy. Key notes for clarity: • All Freight (LTL) shipments are final sale unless damaged or defective. • Standard parcel (non-freight) items may be returned within 30 days if new, unused, in original packaging, with prior Return Authorization. Subject to up to 20% restocking fee. • Exchanges are not offered. Return shipping is your responsibility unless defective or our error.
6. Installation Services, Maintenance, and Warranties Professional installation, maintenance plans, and manufacturer warranties (including Generac 5-year limited on home standby generators plus our 10-year workmanship warranty on installed generators) are detailed in sections 6–8 of our original policy language and on the product pages. We coordinate all warranty claims. Manufacturer warranties do not cover misuse, improper installation, or lack of maintenance.
7. Safety and Proper Use Generators produce carbon monoxide. Never operate indoors or in enclosed spaces. Only qualified licensed electricians may connect units to your home system. You are responsible for following all safety instructions.
8. Intellectual Property & Responsible Use We or our licensors own all copyright, trademarks, and intellectual property on this site. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or commercialize any content without prior written permission. You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and not to publish malware, scrape data, or interfere with site performance. You may forward our newsletter to others.
9. Registration, Third-Party Links & Electronic Communications You may register for an account and are responsible for keeping your password confidential. We may communicate with you electronically; all such communications satisfy legal “in writing” requirements. Our site may link to third-party sites — we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
10. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. The site and products are provided “as is.”
11. Dispute Resolution These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kentucky. Any dispute shall first be resolved through binding arbitration in our home county under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to class-action proceedings.
12. Other Provisions • Changes to these Terms are effective upon posting. • If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains in effect. • You may not assign your rights without our consent. • We are not liable for force majeure events. • You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse or breach. • We comply with U.S. export laws and may engage in affiliate marketing with proper disclosures. • We are committed to website accessibility.
