1. Overview
This policy explains how orders are processed, how items ship, expected delivery timelines, and what to do if there is an issue in transit.
2. Fulfillment & Shipping Origin
Many products sold by Brite Generators ship directly from our manufacturer or authorized distribution partners, including Generac facilities in Wisconsin. Shipping origin may vary by product and availability.
3. Processing Times

In-stock items typically ship within 1–2 business days after payment is verified.

Orders placed after 2:00 PM Central Time may process the next business day.

Backordered or special-order items ship when available.

Typical estimated delivery for drop-shipped items is 5–10 business days, but this is an estimate and not a guarantee.
4. Shipping Methods

Parcel Shipping: UPS, FedEx, USPS, or similar carriers.

Freight (LTL): For heavy, palletized, or oversized items. Delivery is curbside unless otherwise arranged.
5. Freight (LTL) Deliveries

Freight deliveries are curbside only.

Liftgate service, residential delivery, limited access delivery, or appointment scheduling may result in additional charges.

A physical delivery address is required for all freight shipments. PO Boxes are not permitted.
6. Shipping Geography

We ship to the contiguous United States.

Alaska, Hawaii, and international shipping require a custom quote before ordering.
7. Shipping Rates & Fees

Shipping charges are shown at checkout when applicable.

Freight shipments require a custom quote and are confirmed after checkout.

Address changes after shipment may result in reconsignment or redelivery fees, which are the customer’s responsibility.
8. Order Tracking
Tracking details are emailed when available.
For freight shipments, the carrier may contact you to schedule delivery.
9. Receiving Freight Shipments – REQUIRED
You must inspect your shipment before signing for delivery.
If there is visible damage:

Note the damage clearly on the delivery receipt.

Take photos.

Refuse delivery if damage is severe.
Concealed damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Keep all packaging.
Failure to follow these steps may void your ability to file a claim.
10. Risk of Loss
Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery by the carrier. We assist with carrier claims when inspection procedures are followed.
11. Missed Appointments & Storage
Missed delivery appointments, storage fees, redelivery charges, or accessorial fees imposed by the carrier are the customer’s responsibility.
12. Backorders & Split Shipments
If part of your order is unavailable, we may ship items separately as they become available. Lead times are estimates only.
