1. All Freight (LTL) Sales – FINAL
All Freight (LTL) shipments are final sale unless the product arrives damaged or defective.
Due to the nature, size, and cost of freight shipments:
- Freight items are not returnable for convenience.
- Freight items cannot be refused after shipment for non-defect reasons.
- Customer remorse, sizing issues, or change of mind are not valid reasons for freight returns.
2. Standard Parcel Returns (Non-Freight)
Non-freight items may be returned within 30 days of delivery if:
- New
- Unused
- Undamaged
- In original manufacturer packaging with all accessories
A Return Authorization (RA) is required before any return.
3. Restocking Fees
Approved non-freight returns are subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
4. Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or shipped in error.
Returned items must be received within 14 days of RA approval.
5. Damaged or Defective Items
For damaged or defective items:
- Notify us immediately.
- Follow the inspection procedures listed in the Shipping Policy.
- Claims must be supported by photos and documentation.
Warranty service is handled according to the manufacturer’s warranty. As a Generac PowerPro Elite Dealer, Brite Generators coordinates warranty support.
6. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable:
- Freight (LTL) items unless damaged or defective
- Special-order products
- Installed items
- Opened or used items
- Fluids, consumables, and non-resellable items
7. Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges.
If you need a different product, place a new order and return the original if eligible.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection.
Refunds may take up to 30 days to process.
9. Chargebacks & Disputes
Failure to follow our return, freight inspection, or RA procedures may void refund eligibility and limit our ability to assist with disputes.
BACKORDERS & SPECIAL ORDERS
- Many products are drop-shipped directly from the manufacturer.
- Items not currently in stock may be placed on backorder.
- Typical estimated delivery is 5–10 business days but is not guaranteed.
- Once a special-order or backordered item has shipped, it cannot be canceled.
- Backordered and special-order items may be non-returnable.
